Art Verona 2023

At the invitation of curator Hannah Eckstein, Galerie Philipp Anders took part in the eighteenth edition of Art Verona in October 2023. We were one of four galleries curated into the Introduction section. In this section, young, emerging, international galleries are invited to Art Verona to present their program to an international art audience and enrich the fair with their artistic positions. 

The presentation consisted of a group show by the following artists: 

The expressive, gestural paintings by Leipzig based painter Sebastian Hosu. The works of the Leipzig based artist Paul Glaw which address the differences and tensions between eastern- and western-german biographies and the delicate, abstract compositions by Frankfurt based painter Rachel von Morgenstern in acrylic paint on polyester. 

During the art fair painter Rachel von Morgenstern was awarded the Premio A Disposizione price by the Veronafiere acquisition fund for art. One of her works was added to their collection.
