Claudia Koh integrates natural and manmade symbolism to explore the relationship between her body and surroundings, balancing presence with harmony. Drawing on her Southeast Asian heritage, she uses cultural motifs to express themes of displacement, grief, and restriction. Her work captures fleeting moments, evoking the transient nature of existence and the passage of time. Recent exhibitions include “Where the Flowers Bloom” at Cuturi Gallery, Singapore (2022) and “Being Human” in New York (2019).
