Allistair Walter: 'FunSaver' / Upcoming Solo Show
OPENING DURING THE SPINNEREI GALLERIES SPRING RUNDGANG
SATURDAY, 25. April: 11 AM - 7 PM
SUNDAY, 26. April: 11 AM - 4 PM
In his debut solo exhibition Fun Saver, Berlin-based painter Allistair Walter presents new and recent works that transform photography and memory into layered, autonomous paintings. Beginning with figurative foundations drawn from personal snapshots and polaroids, his images gradually loosen into open, indeterminate spaces where figures and environments emerge only to fragment and dissolve. A calm melancholy and subtle visual whispering pervade the works, while metamorphosis operates as a guiding principle, capturing the continuous becoming of image, subject, and perception beyond their origins. Driven by an awareness of impermanence, Walter’s paintings stake a quiet claim against oblivion, inviting viewers to reflect on how fleeting moments, memories, and lives persist in shared human experience.
More info soon about Inna Levinson's debut exhibition with the gallery will follow soon.
