Emmélie Lempert, born in Bonn in 1998, is a German-Czech artist exploring body transformation through textile art, performative installation, and sculpture. Her recent works feature animalistic costumes in rigid polycarbonate frames, creating theatrical still lifes with unresolved narrative tension. Blending the uncanny with a playful, fairy-tale quality, Lempert’s art examines the border between fear and fantasy. Notable exhibitions include shows at Sotheby’s Cologne (2024), Museum Solingen (2024), and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.
