Artist Lisa Kottkamp (*1991) covers a variety of themes in the media of contemporary sculpture and installation art. A recurring motif is the wall, the grid or cage which appear in the material of porcellain or glass - her tender aesthetics are in contrast with the symbolism and metaphorics of her subjects. Standing out are her works "Altering Borders and Moving Horizons" (2017) and Porzellanzelle (2016) or Porzellangitter (2016). After stays in Halle (art academy Burg Giebichenstein) and Viena (in the class of Monica Bonvicini) Lisa Kottkamp completed her Fine Art studies at the renowned art academy in Leipzig (HGB) as a Meisterschülerin in 2019.
