Stefan Schwarzer: PLANET POLYCHROMOS

With Planet Polychromos, the Philipp Anders Gallery presents works by the Leipzig-based artist for the first time. This solo exhibition offers a comprehensive insight into Schwarzer’s artistic practice of recent years, while at the same time tracing a map of the many places where his drawings, and lately as well paintings in oil, have come into being.

Each work forms part of an ongoing search for traces — a visual exploration that weaves together perception, memory, and the atmosphere of place in a remarkable density of colour.
